"The New York Times" chooses to Santiago as the best place to visit this 2011

Santiago was chosen like one of the most interesting places for visit during this 2011, in a ranking elaborated by the American newspaper "The New York Times" and that included 41 localities of the entire world. 

In the listing is emphasized to the capital of Chile as a booming city economically inside the region and stands out the great recovery that has had after to have suffered the consequences of the earthquake of February of 2010. 

"It does less than one year that an earthquake of magnitude 8,8 caused havoc in Chile and its capital, Santiago, has recovered in great measure the economy and continues growing.  Besides, the tourism is found in a phase of expansion" emphasizes the report of the newspaper.
